Frequently Asked Questions

Answers before starting your immigration process.

What type of residence is right for me?

It depends on your nationality, occupation, income, family ties, background, and purpose of stay. The category is determined through an individual assessment.

Does the package price include government taxes?

No. VisaSide's fees are separate from administrative, consular, and other external fees. These costs depend on the specific procedure.

Does VisaSide guarantee my visa will be approved?

No. The concession is granted exclusively by the competent authority. The service consists of evaluating the case, preparing the application, and carrying out the contracted actions.

Can I start the process from abroad?

Some categories and procedures can be handled through digital or consular channels. Specific feasibility depends on your location, nationality, documentation, and the category you are applying for.

What happens if the authorities request additional documents?

Routine follow-up includes addressing standard observations and corrections in the file. Extraordinary appeals or actions may require a separate budget.

Do the packages include translations and apostilles?

They include guidance and document coordination within the agreed scope. Translator, notary, apostille, and legalization fees are paid separately.

How long does it take to obtain residency in Ecuador?

It depends on the type of application, the required documentation, administrative requirements, and the workload of the authority. We do not offer guaranteed dates.

Can I include my spouse or children?

There are categories and mechanisms of protection subject to requirements. Each member may need their own application and documentation. Family packages are evaluated in a coordinated manner.

Does residency automatically include an Ecuadorian ID card?

It should not be assumed. Issuance of identification cards depends on the immigration category and applicable procedures. Issuance and associated fees are separate processes.

Is the initial consultation deducted from the package price?

The commercial proposal includes crediting the USD 75 for the strategic consultation when contracting a package within the following 30 days, subject to written confirmation of the conditions.
